After years of debating whether to have LASIK or not, most patients get on the phone hours after surgery telling their friends they should have done it years ago.  Since many of us at EyeHealth Northwest have had LASIK ourselves, we understand the feeling.  We do, however, encourage patients to take it easy in those first hours after their surgery!

Follow Up is Everything

It's true these days that most patients return the day after surgery already able to see 20/20 without glasses or contacts!  At EyeHealth Northwest, we look forward to that first visit the day after surgery almost as much as our patients.  But our goals are not measured in terms of 20/20, rather we hope to help each patient heal in the best way possible for them.  We recognize that our patients come to us as individuals and our surgeons' top priority is to be there throughout the entire healing process for each patient to fine tune their outcome and give them their best vision.
