I'll be the first to admit that I am a freak about my eyes. When my doctor first mentioned Lasik eye surgery to me several years ago, I never thought that I would be able to go through with it. He told me not to do it until I was sure I was ready, which admittedly took me 3-4 years. I decided one day just to gather more information and called the Lasik coordinator. After over an hour on the phone and a multitude of questions, I was hooked and had my first appointment scheduled. I had to go through a lengthy "corneal rehab", and subsequently had multiple appointments prior to my surgery. Every encounter with the Eye Health Northwest staff that I experienced made me feel more comfortable and at ease. The staff is outstanding! On the day of surgery, despite my nerves, the surgery staff and my doctor were able to make me feel more confident by explaining every aspect of the procedure, and performing it flawlessly. My only regret? That I didn't have this done years ago. I love my new vision!
